The String Orchestra and Concert Band students will be participating in “Music in the Parks Festival 2020” on Saturday April 18th.
Proposed itinerary:
- 7:00am – Students and Chaperones meet at Carlmont HS
- 7:30am – Depart via school buses from Carlmont HS
- 8:30am – Arrive at Milpitas High School for “Music in the Parks Festival”
- 9:15am – Concert Band Performance
- 10:05am – String Orchestra Performance
- 11:00am – California’s Great America for the day and awards ceremony
- 6:00pm – Arrive back at Carlmont HS
Trip Expenses per Student*:
$63.00 includes: Festival, Transportation and Admission to Great America for the day OR
$30.00 includes: Festival and Transportation (if student has own Season Pass/Ticket to Great America)
Student Attire:
Students should wear their Carlmont Instrumental T-Shirt and blue jeans
No Participation Expenses for Chaperones* to Festival or Great America!
* Extra expenses: 1 lunch ($15-20)
Students attending trip must be in good academic standing, minimum 2.0 GPA and no F’s
- Please fill out the registration form (Google Form) and make payment by February 28th, 2020
- Payment will be done through the new Cut Time management system
